Join us on the 24 November 2025 (14:30–16:00 CAT) for the next session in the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs) Webinar Series 2025:

“SADC Economic Development Corridors and the Ecosystems - Water-Energy-Food (E-WEF) Nexus Approach”

SADC’s regional economic development corridors are powerful drivers of trade, industrialisation, and value-chain integration. At the same time, the E-WEF Nexus provides an essential framework for building resilience and sustainable growth across these corridors and within TFCAs.

With their healthy ecosystems, TFCAs are not only conservation landscapes, but they are also key economic assets. This session will explore how TFCAs can:
- Link rural economies to regional transport corridors
- Support ecosystem-based adaptation
- Strengthen resilience to climate and resource pressures
- Attract nature-positive investments that boost both livelihoods and biodiversity

This webinar is supported by the Joint Action NaturAfrica / Climate Resilience and Natural Resource Management (C-NRM) Programme and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH - a partnership Programme between the SADC Secretariat, the European Union and the German Government.

Register below and zoom link will be shared closer to the date.

Let’s continue shaping a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future for SADC’s shared landscapes!
