The project addresses the issue of deteriorating marine environments by expanding & improving a network of climate resilient, sustainable & effectively managed MPAs and improving their management. The project will also enhance the community management of sustainable small-scale fisheries & work towards reducing post-harvest losses & improving marine related supply chains. Work areas: i) MPA governance; ii) species conservation/sustainable fisheries; iii) habitat conservation & restoration; iv) sustainable livelihoods.
