Botswana Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (BOCONGO) is the national coordinating body for non-governmental organisations in Botswana. Its mandate is to create an enabling environment for civil society to effectively contribute to inclusive development, policy formulation, implementation, and accountability processes at national, regional, and international levels. BOCONGO has a membership base of over 300 non-governmental organisations across the country, making it the largest and most representative civil society coordination platform in Botswana.

BOCONGO operates as a membership-driven apex body, coordinating NGOs, facilitating dialogue with government and other stakeholders, strengthening civil society capacity, and promoting harmonised development interventions aligned to national priorities and international frameworks.

• Sustainable Environment and Natural Resource Management
• Arts and Creative Justice
These thematic areas provide platforms for coordination, advocacy, knowledge-sharing, and service delivery among member organisations across Botswana.
