Hazel Tariro Chimbiro is an environmental lawyer and she works at the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Organisation (ZELO) as a Legal Officer and the Land and Natural Resources Programme Unit Lead. She has previously worked in private practice; as a Magistrate as well as a general counsel for a state enterprise. Hazel is a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Certified Sustainability Professional. She holds a Master of laws degree in Land and Natural Resources Law from the University of Zimbabwe. Hazel also holds a Bachelor of Laws Honors degree (LLBS) from the University of Zimbabwe. She is Member of the International Union for Conversation of Nature (IUCN) World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL).
