All our Camps & Lodges are in partnership with the their local community where majority of the staff comes from. This concept is part of the WWF and IRDNC Joint-venture conservancies program. Every guest staying at Camps & Lodges contributes to the Conservancy Fee which in turn helps with the development of the community.
Our properties electrical systems, the swimming pools and borehole pumps all run on solar powered energy. We have built utilising as much as possible natural, locally purchased, energy efficient and partially recycled materials.
This is ecotourism, which in essence means responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people.
Our vision is to ensure that our Camps & Lodges natural and cultural environment is ethically managed and profitably operated according to the highest possible international standards, practices and guidelines in sustainable tourism, environmental conservation and biodiversity protection and cultural heritage preservation.
