I have worked at the intersection of human rights and conservation since 1994 in South Africa. The African Safari Foundation facilitates fair contracts between communities with rights in protected areas and the private sector and state conservation agencies. We support a rights-based Community Based Natural Resource Management program that redresses past injustices and helps community members to improve their lives.
