SADC plans Annual meeting in Kasane

The 2024 Annual SADC TFCA Network Meeting will be a hybrid one taking place in Kasane from the 19th to 21st November 2024. The meeting will allow online and in-person participation from TFCA stakeholders and is aimed at contributing to the implementation of the SADC TFCA Program through facilitating learning, information exchange, knowledge management and innovation in overcoming TFCA challenges and tsking up opportunities.
This Annual Meeting in Kasane will initiate the focused Communities of Practice as called for in the SADC TFCA programs. These thematic CoPs are arranged under the following focus areas
1. Human Wildlife Conflict
2. TFCA Investment and sustainable financing
3. Skills Development and Capacity building
4. CBNRM and social inclusion
5. Monitoring and Evaluation
6. Climate Change impact on TFCAs
In addition, we will get highlights of progress made by TFCAs over the last year as well as discuss details about the planned 25th Anniversary of SADC TFCA’s planned for May 2025.
