The objective of this meeting is to review progress towards the implementation of the SADC TFCA Programme. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for a one-day workshop on the establishment of the TFCA Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework, for incorporation into the broader SADC M&E Framework.

CITES COP17 Conference is running from 24th September to 5th October in Johannesburg, South Africa. CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) is an international agreement between governments. Its aim is to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten their survival.

This annual event takes place in the Tuli region with the Limpopo Valley Airfield serving as the start-off point. This year featured over 500 cyclists from all over the world. The Tour de Tuli is an event that seeks to raise funds for Children in the Wilderness, a charity programme run by Wilderness Safaris.

This is an Eco-challenge Walk up the Lubombo Mountains on the Maputaland Biodiversity Hotspot to help bring back nature walks and appreciation of the biodiversity hotspot.
It serves to also draw attention to the beauty of the Lubombo Landscape on which the Lubombo TFCA is set.
